Setup is simple

Get security on the go
Your actual card number isn't shared with the merchant when you use Android Pay. Instead, a virtual account number is used so that your card details stay safe. After paying, you'll receive transaction details to help you keep track of your spending activity. And if your phone is ever lost or stolen, you can lock your device from anywhere using https://myaccount.google.com.

To best protect your info, Android Pay isn't supported on rooted devices. This is because Google can't verify that the Android security model is intact on a rooted device.

Earn rewards and save
You can use Android Pay to store gift cards, loyalty cards, and offers. When using credit and debit cards from participating banks with Android Pay, you'll earn the same points and rewards that you do when swiping those cards.
